I stumbled across this article on MacSurfer's News Headlines about Palm desktop getting a facelift for Windows and Mac. Didn't Palm announce that there will be no more future versions? Anyone know different?

I think the fact is that once the Palm OS 6 arrives, no Mac support.

I beleive they have changed their mind, and the Mac will be supported.
I read about it within the last week, but have no idea where.

Actually, PalmSource (who writes PalmOS) and PalmOne (who makes Palm-branded PDAs) are separate companies, and it's the former who cancelled Mac support. PalmOne is the company who releases Palm Desktop, including this latest update.

Meh, that is what iSync is for. I only use the palm software to install software but everything else is done through iSync

The trouble is that iSync works through a Palm Desktop conduit.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
