Hi,
I was just wondering what are some of the good image viewers that are out there (Other than Preview)... I have tried many but can't find a decent one. (want it to show all the pictures in the current directory where I open 1 picture). closest thing I found was "magic lantern" but it has literally no options (e.g. rotate etc.)
thanks...

You know in Preview that if you open lots of files at once, it shows them in a single window, right?

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

If it's just for images why not just use iPhoto?

Jview is decent. NOt quite as fast as Preview, but not braindead like Preview is to open all the pics in one window (no way to compare 2 pics side by side, and no way to close just one pic at a time).

Have you done a search at VersionTracker for "image viewer". That will bring up many freeware, shareware and commercial options.

I use preview.
Open a folder of jpg files, ? + A (to select all) and then drag to preview.
They all open up with a nice tray...
