i use internet connect and earthlink on my powerbooks modem to connect to the internet. one annoying thing is it asks occasionally if i "still wish to remain online."

even if im using the net, downloading and checking mail it will still pop that up. and if im not around it will disconnect me.

anyone know how to stop internet connect from popping that up? i couldn't figure it out. thanks!

Go to System Preferences > Network and make sure that Internal Modem appears in the Show dropdown menu.

Click on the PPP tab and press the PPP Options button. Deselect the checkbox for Prompt every [blank] minutes to disconnect.
