That doesn't surprise me...however, wouldn't this happen with EVERY installer from Apple in recent history and been noticed before?

Can't they just embed JPEGs or GIFs? 15 MB of TIFFs seems rather excessive.

QT updates have always been huge...I would imagine that the QT core isn't very modular and when small changes are made to the core, the whole thing has to be downloaded.

Embedded TIFFs, feh.
