Hey everyone,

Ok so I send a multimedia message from my motorola phone with a picture that I just took in .jpeg format. I recieve it almost immediately in mail. The picture shows up fine and then when I press save attachments I save it to my desktop. However the file doesn't show up as a .jpeg at all. It is titled mime-attachment and when I double click on it, preview opens up but nothing happens so I can't export it either. Is there anything I can do?

Right-click (control click) on the image and choose "Save Image to Disk"

Im sorry, both of those methods dont' work, I end up with the same mime-attachment file on my desktop that cannot be viewed. If I didn't make it clear before, I am using the application "mail"

Try renaming the file and giving it a .jpeg extension. Preview sometimes won't open images unless they have a matching extension.
