Hi all.

My Safari application has gotten dreadfully slow in the recent weeks. When I switch between applications my mouse's cursor becomes the spinning-wheel for 1-2 seconds. What would cause this?

There has been a bit of advice about this in recent days (a search is good but doesn't always yield results) :

However it does work! Essentially you can safely delete the icons in /home/library/safari/icons. The above thread gives the terminal command below:

find $HOME/Library/Safari/Icons -type f -atime +30 -name "*.cache" -delete

Hopefully should help
