Is there a way to view the bookmarks and a particular web page at the same time in the same window?

I suppose one could open two windows, one with the bookmarks and another with the page, but then if you click a link in the bookmarks I don't think you could make it show up in the other window, could you?

(Version 1.0.2 under OS X 10.2.8)

I don't see a need for it myself actually...but I'm sure you have a good reason...

Since my bookmarks are all in folders, I'd like to be able to have a tri-split view:
  1. Bookmark Folders
  2. Bookmarks in Selected Folder
  3. Webpage Corresponding to Selected Bookmark
That way I can edit the bookmarks while viewing the pages.

EDIT: BTW, what is this experience like by default in Safari for Panther? I only have Jaguar right now.
