Hi there,
First of all, I hope I have posted the following in the correct forum - apologies if I've got it wrong!!
I wonder if anyone out there can help me ....
I am running Panther 10.3.3 and I have just downloaded some software from a web-site in the form of a .dmg file.
When I click on the file to open it, a small window appears with the ledgend "The following disk images failed to mount" (It then names the software) then, "Reason - codec overrun".
The software will not install. Does anyone know what this means and what the procedure is to correct the problem?
I have never come accross this before. Thanks in advance.
Best ----- John.

It might simply be that the downloaded file is corrupt and that you'll need to do it again.

Sorry not to get back to you earlier Ice Man to to tell you that the file was indeed corrupt, and that I took your advice and I downloaded the file again - eureka it worked! The software is now up and running; thank you again for your help.
