Hi.
I'm using iMacTFT15 OSX10.3.3 and IntelliMouse Optical. He's fine.
But, there is a problem in IntelliMouse Optical. It's this.
http://excite.co.jp/world/english/we...co=excitejapan
I'm continuing worrying by this problem.
It is more exact to call it the problem of OverdriveX probably, rather than it calls it the problem of M$.
M$mouse Driver is because MS customizes OverdriveX.
Anyway, help me if you please!

Your english is difficult, as is the translation of the Microsoft note.
From what I can tell, it's talking about how clicks are recognized by the software and the OS, and how functions of Expose, Safari, the Finder, and Help may not work with the extra buttons (the third, fourth, and fifth buttons). I have only seen the problem with Expose.
Remove Intellipoint. USB Overdrive is good for custom settings, but I suggest removing it since OS X.3. Without either, the mouse will function properly, and you can use Expose to set the fourth and fifth buttons to Expose actions.
Notes 3 and 4 are incomprehensible due to the translation, I'm sorry.
Synonyms for ease of translation :
Remove/Delete/Kill/Disable Intellipoint
Remove/Delete/Kill/Disable USB Overdrive, unless/except special/unique/custom settings/preferences.
Without/Not them/those, Expose works/fine

OK, I summarized my topic.
I'm sorry, the report of the M$ was written in Japanese.
Summarized: ["4button" and "5button" will not response normally by Safari, Finder, and HelpViewer.]
(e.g.)By IntelliPoint, 4button is set as Command+Click, and it is clicked on Safari. However, it does not react.
A cause is in IntelliPoint. However, the contents of IntelliPoint are OvedriveX.(Probably, M$ contracted with the author of OverdriveX.) Therefore, this bug is not solved even if I install OverdriveX.

I guess I still don't understand the problem... looks like a file overwrite problem or something...

Intellipoint is USB Overdrive.
10.3 causes problems with both, potentially unresolved.
You can use the extra buttons for Expose by removing Intellipoint and USB Overdrive.

Thanks, But I have got experienced in this custom-made setup. It is feeling of using the drug completely. I wish that Apple helps me by WWDC.
