i posted this earlier in the powerbook forum but now i'm thinking it might fall under software. this is question for all you halo players out there, especially the ones with a new 15" 1.5ghz pb with 128vram and the 5200 rpm drive.

how does halo run for you? for me its not that good. what settings do you use?

Halo ran so badly for me on both my Macs that I went out and bought and XBox :o That's my advice - they are cheap these days, and Halo 2 is coming in November, and X Box live is pretty awesome.

It should run pretty well with that awesome vid card! Maybe it's the slow HD slowing it down. How much RAM do you have?

Turn down the texture detail and full screen anti-aliasing, and those will most likely improve game speed.
