I'm typing up a paper and I just realized that quotation marks are not entered accurately. I'm a new Mac user so maybe i am hitting the wrong keys?
when i use word or any other program on windows, when i hit " and then enter a quote and hit shift and the quotation button again, it closes the quote with closing quotation marks" .. unfortunately in word, it shows up where comma's are, like this ,, instead of ".
it also doesnt face the right way, meaning i can have a the same quotation marks on both sides of the quote even when not intentional.
does anyone know why or if there's something in preferences i should switch to fix this?
