Is there some way to select which option you want when iTunes does the type-ahead thing in the info window? E.G.,

-I have the composers Fernando Carulli and Fernando Sor in my database;

-I am entering the composer for a new song by Fernando Sor, and when I type 'F', iTunes autofills with Fernando Carulli;

-Is there a way I can select Fernando Sor without having to type the entire line up to the 'S'?

In Windows a drop down would appear with all the choices. I have tried using the arrow keys, tabs, and all manner of everything else. Am I out of luck?

That's something I've always wanted too. Sounds like something to submit to iTunes Feedback:

Done. I was hoping I had just overlooked something.

Not that I've found. I'd prefer the option were more like Safari (and the windows feature you described). But more feedback will help.
