Would AS be appropriate to batch play quicktime movies in a folder? I want to have multiple movies be launched and play back to back in full screen in QT. I figure either they can all be open or AS opens 1 when the previous is finished. Would need to be in a numbered list in naming convention I assume.

Or is there a better way? I don't want to have to import them into iMovie and play as a timeline. Too toime consuming. I guess maybe FCP but then I'd need to export as movie. Again, time. Plus it would be nice to be dynamic so if I remove or change order or add files, it'll automate.

How would you detect the end of the movie ?

Yeah same here. I have music videos that I'm trying to get QuickTime to play. I want it to have a playlist like VLC does that offers choices like random play. Any ideas? I don't know anything about AppleScript. I was hoping that QuickTime has something like that as a hidden feature. I saw QuickTime's Favorites, but that is so limited.
