For a class on friday, I decided to whip together a quick game (took me about 3 hours) of Math Fortune (loosely based on Wheel of Fortune... and sometimes more directly based) to amuse my depleted classes (lots of kids on field trips to the zoo and such). I also was observed that day, and my observer kind of liked the game and wanted to use it themselves... so I spruced up my work a little this weekend and wanted to get some people's feedback on how it works. More specifically...
1) Are there any errors in the logic of the game?
2) Are there any immediate improvements I should make?
I know the circle isn't round (just a bunch of triangles put together) and the color scheme isn't the best (random), and the power bar that you're suppose to click and hold to make the wheel spin isn't even marked... but still, anything else wrong that's really glaring?

Thanks,
Matt Fahrenbacher

"Anwer Time Limit" is misspelled.
I don't appreciate you shouting at me or you calling me chicken if I make a mistake.
How am I supposed to solve this without a calculator anyway?

Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

1. Cool - thanks.
2. Ahhh... but that's a great line from Back to the Future! Maybe I should make that an option
- No sound when passing
- "Back to the Future Line" when passing
3. Without a calculator? Calculator would be a must for many of these questions.

It's not obvious that answers should be entered numerically instead of symbolically.
Your questions should indicate how many decimal places answers should be rounded to.

You mean a simplified answer (2) versus a mathematical expression (3 + 5 - 6)?
Hmmm... maybe my kids where too simple minded, but they only thought of the numeric answer, not the expression. Perhaps I'm too simple minded as well... what would be a good way to indicate that I want just numeric solutions? (although that doesn't apply totally to the quads module, where I want some expressions (hmm... I forgot to add the y= for some of those... another bug to fix)
Thanks,
Matt Fahrenbacher

4*Pi versus 12.57, for example.
