Is there a program for OSX that can erase cdrs, cdrws, and dvdrs?

I know on Windows there's a program to erase cdr and cdrws, but what about dvdrs?

Disk Utility will erase CD-RWs and DVD-RWs.

Also, you can't erase a CD-R.
