OK, I have selected my iTunes Music folder location to be on my external firewire drive. Why does iTunes keep putting a folder in my users music folder? Is there a way to stop this? Also, since I pointed it to a new location, why can I not use the music in iPhoto?

If you start up iTunes while the Firewire drive is unmounted, the application will create a new iTunes Music folder on your local hard drive (as well as change the folder's location back to the default in Preferences).
