Apple originally was going to release a Drawing program for OSX similar to MS aint, but decided not to.
There's always the Drawing and Painting programs in Appleworks.
I wouldn't mind having some choices BESIDES Adobe and Corel.
I'd love to see stuff like Paint Shop Pro on the Mac, but I doubt it'll ever happen.
Something to think about as both Adobe and Corel are sitting on the fence, because they want to abandon the Mac platform.

I've never liked Corel's apps and I don't think anyone on the Mac actually ever bought any, that's why they're quitting the Mac. Adobe have only abandoned those apps for which there were much better alternatives i.e. Premiere couldn't compete with Avid or Final Cut. I know they've introduced some new Windows only software, but that has been consumer iPhoto like apps, why port them to the Mac when everyone's using iPhoto anyways.
Cheers Ry

I agree. I just get depressed when I talk about software for the Mac, I just wished there were more alternatives.
