1) Other than the "obvious" settings that are available within iChat's prefs and in the Sharing > Firewall control panel... why would I NOT be able to see other computers hooked-into the SAME router in my Rendezvous list...? I have gone into 3 (three) computers in my company in the SAME room... ALL new G5s with the latest version of iChat AV and OSX and updates.

I configured iChat correctly to enable Rendezvous chats, I made sure that the user was an entry in the address book and selected as "My Card" (Or however it's worded), I even went into the sharing control panel and enabled the Rendezvous via iChat... even though I do NOT have my Firewall turned on... on all-3 'puters.

NONE of them see each-other... yet they all have internet access, they all connect flawlessly to the servers, iChat works as an AIM client just fine... it's just the stupid Rendezvous.

----

2) Any idea on how to DISABLE a person's ability to use the AIM aspect of iChat and leave it enabled as Rendezvous ONLY...??? I'd like to incorporate it at work, but my boss is 100% against giving our associates the ability to "chat" outside of our LAN with friends & family on company time. (This is all on the assumption that I ever get Rendezvous to work)

Thanks, all...

You probably have some firewall problem that's eating Rendezvous.

A firewall between the Internet and the LAN could easily be used to block AIM.
