Apple dvd player very very dark picture

	When trying to watch movies with apples dvd player the picture is so dark it is not really watchable. I thought i may need to calibrate my screen so I did but that didn't help at all. I have tried VLC player and the brightness is perfect. Is anyone else having this problem and how can I sort it ?. I don't like using VLC player for dvd's as the interface is horrible and it uses way to much CPU . I am using latest version of Panter
