Help me make a cd image for a windows computer with TOAST?

hi i am new to macs. i have been using windows for 580 years and decided to switch because the mac is very pretty. i need your halp. i would like to make my friend a copy of a software for windows but he lives far away so i cant handdeliver my cd. i need to make an image of the cd and send over via intermet so he can burn it on cd. i have toast but i dont know what to do. thanks very very much you are too kind and generous

580 years? Wow, too bad Gutenberg didn't know that computers had been around since 1424. He could have saved a lot of time needlessly spent on inventing that printing press thingie. And later on, Josquin des Pres could have used Finale to write all those motets...

Anyway, if you want to burn a CD to be used on Windows, you can just use the Finder. Just inserting a blank CD, dragging your files onto the icon that shows up in the Desktop, and choosing "Burn Disc" from the File menu should do the trick. If you want to use Toast, burn the CD's in ISO 9660 format and it will work great.

And of course, you are making them a copy of their own software... that they purchased...but just kinda left at your house....

thank you for your delightful replies! i know how to burn a regoolar data cd, i need to know how i can make a cd image file. example *.dmg equivalent but recognizable on the pc. thank you so much too kind
