I'm really getting tired of permissions issues with OS X. I have two user accounts on my computer, one for me and one for my girlfriend. Both are admin accounts, but I install all the software.

My girlfriend uses Mozilla whereas I usually use Safari or Firefox. Up until two weeks ago, Mozilla worked fine in my gf's user account. Now it doesn't work. It launches but no window appears. It doesn't respond to any command. It's just dead. Firefox launches and crashes. Neither version has been updated since the last working version. One day the worked, the next day they didn't.

So I assumed it was a permissions issue since they continue to launch and work in my user account. I repaired permissions, ran Disk Warrior. Still nothing. The console gives no error messages of any kind.

Is there any logical reason why these two browsers would just stop working for no apparent reason?
