My brother has a Sony Clie' T665c and an apple ibook g4. I know that mark/space sells clie' synching software for mac... but it says it requires palm desktop 4 ( a free download). However, when you go to download palm desktop it asks you what model of palm handheld you have, and of course clie' isn't listed there. So what model do I select? Or does it not matter?

Also, how well does mark/space missing sync work?

He should select something comparable in terms of what OS it runs. For the T665, my best guess would be a late OS4 model like the m505 or m515. I've found it doesn't matter much which one you download as long as it's from the same general era of Palm OS development.

Missing Sync works perfectly, it's totally transparent, once it's installed you'll never even hear from it again. It just works.

If your brother wants some more help with Clie issues, he should check out the excellent forums at http://www.cliesource.com. It's one of the most active Palm-related sites, and obviously focused mostly on Clies.
