AT WWDC last year, during his keynote speech, Steve showed a function of Mail. Mail "flagged" any e-mail address that is not a @apple.com address red. He demonstrated it writing an e-mail to several apple employees. He typed in avie tevanian and when he selected his .Mac address, his name was flagged red. When Steve went back to his apple.com-E-Mail, it went black again.
Here's a picture about what I'm talking about :
How can I use this feature in Mail. I don't see it documented anywhere. Or has this feature been axed?

Scarcely pausing for breath, Vroomfondel shouted, "We DON'T demand solid facts! What we demand is the total ABSENCE of solid facts. I demand that I may or may not be Vroomfondel!"

How about the "Mark addresses not in this domain" option under "Composing" in Mail's prefs?

I just wish that I didn't have to use 'Mark as Unread' as 'Mark as Flagged'.
Mailboxes that contain flagged messages are not distinguishable from any other mailbox - but mailboxes that contain unread messages are bold.
Wouldn't it be nice if Mail showed Mailboxes that contain flagged messages as a slightly different colour - perhaps with a slight red tint..

Very nifty. I notice that you can put commas between domains and define a list of 'OK' domains which do not get the red treatment.

Or just put a flag next to them.
One feature that exists in the new RSS News Reader "Pulp Fiction" is a "Flagged Messages" folder. If you flag a message, it will automatically show up in that folder.
GREAT for saving something so you can read it later, or refer back to it. Something like that would be great in Mail. Wonder whether Entourage does it. Hmmm...

Entourage does this. It places a flag icon to the right of folders containing flagged messages.

Dag nabbit. Entourage only has one flag color on the Mac, versus 6 flag colors in Outlook 2003 for PC.
Ah well... vanity
