i want to transfer (and eventually sync) between outlook 2003 and entourage 2004. others have said to convert from outlook to formats such as netscape/mozilla/outlook express and then from those formats into entourage. however, those conversions do not keep attachments. so i decided to transfer by uploading to an imap server i created on the mac system (server made w/ stalker's communigate).
all my emails are now on the imap server. however practically every email has an attachment titled "winmail.dat." this file is attached to emails that both originally did and didnt have attachments in outlook. so essentially i dont have any usable attachments on my emails which was the purpose of uploading them via imap. funny thing is that outlook 2003 can connect to the imap server and view the emails correctly as they were originally.
anyone with any thoughts or solutions to this problem (or the problem of trasnferring/syncing b/t outlook 2003 and entourage 2004)?
