Hello
I am using Apple's mail.app and for the most part I am pleased with its simplicity.
Why can't you make folders within you mailboxes like you can iwithin the finder? The rules for doing this seem so un Mac like.

I'm not sure what you mean. You can create folders, but they're called "mailboxes" (choose "New" in the "Mailboxes" menu). Is this not what you're looking for?

Yes you can make Mailboxes but why can't you put a folder within a folder. The directions for doing this have you type things in a specific format. Its like working in command line or MS-DOS. It is hardly Mac like.

Yes, if you want to create it in a sub folder you must use that format, BUT if you're willing to click and drag, you can always create it in the main list and then drag it into whatever "folder" you want it to be in.

Assuming that, in this context, Mailbox = folder, you can do exactly this. If you control-click on the mailbox/folder and opt for 'New...' you wil produce a sub mailbox/folder which I think is what you want. Otherwise you can click and drag mailboxes/folders around and achieve what you want. I think.
