Hey,

I just bought a Palm Tungsten T2, and I am trying to install DataViz Documents to Go from the Software Essentials CD. However, it gets to the end of the installation before giving me an error message, followed by a message saying I do not have sufficient access privileges to perform the installation.

I am an admin user running 10.3.4, and I have tried repairing permissions... still no avail.

How can I get around this?

What version of Documents to Go are you trying to install?

Did you try to copy the installer to the hard drive and install it from there?

One possible solution, maybe: download Pseudo and launch the Docs To Go installer through it; this will run the installer as root (AFAIK), thus enabling you to successfully install the DataViz program - at least, it worked for me, some time ago...

Thank you so much, I was starting to get worried cos thats the main reason I bought the damn Tungsten in the first place! Pseudo worked a charm!

Now, all I have to figure out is how to get photos onto the little beast!
