Do you guys know how to turn off the autocorrect "smart button" in 2004? It is driving me insane, I hate it. I can't find how to turn it off. Even though I turned off all the autocorrect AND autoformat options, it still keeps popping up when I indent paragraphs or, it seems, just blink towards my monitor.

Help me, please.

When the "smart button" shows you should be able to click on that button and then choose for it to "not" autocorrect whatever it's doing from the pull-down menu...

hmm....i had been hitting that stop thing, but it wasn't working. just tried again and it did, who knows.

if you want to see it, just type a word, then move your cursor back to the front of the line. hit TAB. it's very stupid and annoying, and hangs around.

who wants to see a damn button in the middle of the page?

can't wait until apple comes out with an office product. (well, a good one...not AW)
