I've tried it and it seems kind of cool, It's very easy to use, and has good performance. It's cool to have "live realtime" zoom and scaling. This app feels more modern and "OS X like" than many other apps.

Does it require a stonking graphics card? Maybe that's why I can't run it.

Gotta love alias for bringing more stuff out for OSX. Been trying out the app on a Ti1ghz with a gig of ram and it runs pretty good. But the thing I like the most is how easy it was to learn and start creating.
Now if Alias can make Maya unlimited for OSX Id be in heaven!

This is much more responsive than Painter! It makes me so wish that Apple would release a tablet kind of Mac.

Seriously; what is the fascination with tablet-style computers? I understand how they're very gee-whiz, but their actual utility is limited at best except in a few very specific markets, and even these markets are more than adequately served by existing technology. There's a reason that these things haven't caught on.

Have you ever played with a Tablet PC ? They are sweet! For Art work...
Like just this app is a mayjor kick in the gut v.s. pen and paper. But using a pc tablet is off putting since the great inteface and apps for it are gone since it is a windows thing. So if Apple would make one it would be just bliss [for apple art freaks ! ^v^ you really just have to use it to know it.
Hell Wacom could make one and kick eveynes butt if they would, instead of that heavy cintiq thing.

Just stumbled over this in Macrumors:
Of more interest is another prediction for new Apple "Interactive" displays from the same source. These new displays are compared to Wacom's Cintiq tablet which is described as follows (snip)
Back on topic: Alias Sketchbook looks really nice, with a very clean and reduced UI, and feels plenty fast compared to Painter. The tools are not quite as refined or naturalistic as in Painter, though, which could explain some of the speed and ease of use advantages.
