My iTunes visualization graphics (4.6 and previous) on my current Powerbook (10.3/1gb/800mhz) cannot keep up. It is very jerky and for the most part unusable. How does it look on one of the new PBs? I've considered getting the 1.5ghz w/ 1gb/128mb vram.

The new machines should handle the extra load well but I'm curious if anyone has had problems with the CPU/graphics performance w/ iTunes?

TIA,
Robert

This is for a rev. B 1 GHz 12” PowerBook G4:

User Interface interrupts (mouse movements, clicks, etc.) slow down and halt the Visualizer when in window mode on my computer. In full screen mode, the Visualizer runs smoothly at over 30 fps.
