i just recently got a shiny new powerbook 1.5ghz, pre-installed with my much anticipated new ilife software. i'm looking to possibly use the new idvd and garageband on my g4 tower as well, but i'm having some trouble actually finding the .pkg installer files for these two programs on my software restore discs that came with my pb.

i've tried using pacifist, but have been unable to find these two programs on either of the discs. does anyone know where they might be? i'm hoping i've been provided with backup installers for these programs when i got my pb!

if not, does anybody know if i just copied the actual .app files to my other computer, along with the garageband loops folder, if that would be enough?

hopefully i'm allowed to ask this, i'm just looking to have them for my own use. thanks

actually, those apps are only licensed for the powerbook you bought - they are single computer licences, not single user.

you say you want to use on your G4 tower "as well" - you should then be buying another licence - it is not like it is expensive at $49.

in the finder if you go to the go menu and hit go to folder and type in the cd name and type in /images it should bring up a hidden folder with all the dmgs with the isntaller packages on them.
