need some help importing video from digital cameras please

anyone know how to get the video clips off a digital camera onto my powerbook?
i use iPhoto for teh pictures, but what about the videos on the camera? its a canon powershot a70 if that matters.

Use Image Capture, which is located in the Applications folder.

You can have the camera mounted as a drive on your computer when you connect it, then just copy it from the camera to your HD...

how do i have it mount? it doesn't show up, only iPhoto launches.

I'm not at my computer right now, but I think it's an option in Image Capture to have the camera mount as a drive when you connect it.
