Hello

How do I set up a template document in Word X so that when I open the program, this is the style/font/font size for my documents?

thanks

Very simple.

Just edit the "Normal" template to your liking...you can find that template from the following path:

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Normal

If you just check the 'Prompt to save Normal template' box in the 'Save' preferences, you can just open Word, make any changes you want and quit Word - it will ask you if you want to save the changes to the template and you just say Yes!

If you want to change the paper margin settings, you need to go through page set up and press 'Default' or similar, then it will ask you the same....
