Hey guys,
I've been surfing around the internet for a while trying to find an app that will let me keep track of the blogs I visit.
I have tried a couple of web-based approaches, Kinja being the best, but I can't seem to find a decent MacOS alternative.
Is there a program that behaves much like a news reader that can just post what the bloggers are saying so that I can read them as quick as possible?

You want a RSS feed aggregator. If the site provides an RSS feed, then it will pull that feed and let you read it locally.
Something like NetNewsWire Lite is probably what you want. Though, there are others as well.

I've just downloaded version 2.5 of News You Can Use, and it sucks! Doesn't even start up properly.
I used to love NYCU (had version 2.0), as it worked, was fast and free, and used a lovely unobtrusive menubar icon. What happened?
Does anyone know where I can get version 2.0-2.2, as I'm loath to pay for something that was till today free, and definitely not paying for a broken product!

having played around with the others I think I can safely say that I'm going to have to wait for new NYCU to come out - the competition is awful looking and unwieldy at best. Closest is MacReporter but no ability to make own connections.

Hi,
I'm the developer of NewsYouCanUse. Can you let me know what problem you're having? Sending a crash log would really help. The email is at http://autostylus.com or in the application documentation.

thanks, I have been in touch with you re the problems I was having. Its started loading now, which is a great boon. Only problem is that it randomly crashes when fiddling with the newsfeeds. Will send you a crash log again if it keeps happening.
