Scanner drivers are a bitch on OS X.

I'd suggest maybe you could run it under classic but a quick look at the Visioneer site shows no mac drivers at all.

You may be S.O.L.

With any luck your scanner is supported by the SANE project, it brought my UMAX back to life.

I had a Visioneer scanner when I "switched" two years ago. Was told unequivocally by Visioneer that they did not, and never would, support macs. Sorry - but you get to go shopping for a nice new scanner! I love my Canon LiDE!

Well, I was going to suggest VueScan http://www.hamrick.com but no Visioneer scanners are supported. You might try downloading it and giving it a try just for kicks, however.

yeah i did. it pops up immediatly with "No scanners connected. Check SCSI settings and Apple Sys Profiler"

the apple profiler says there's a USB scanner attached but thats it.
