Can I install OS9.2 from the restore disks that came with my iBook? I am up to 10.3.4. Can I selectively install only 9.2, or will everything load? I have a few game CD's for my daughter that only run in 9.2. Lastly, what is the difference between 9.2 and Classic OS?

Thanks,

X

Yes, you can install Mac OS 9 from the restore disks. I believe you can do it selectively if you use the Software Restore application in /Applications/Utilities.

zachs,

Thanks. Worked like a charm, though a little confusing. Bottom line is, you get to the point along the install process and it asks you to restore everything, or just OS9, Games, Applications or I think OSX. Hit your desired check mark and the process begins.
