Hi guys/girls!

The thing is that I have an iSight and an eMac 1Ghz 128RAM with Jaguar 10.2.8, I have downloaded iChat AV Beta (the pre-panther version) and I can't install it... do someone know why? can someone help me? I want to try my iSight

One more question, is there any AIM compatible program that supports iSight and AIM-windows compatibility?

Thanks in advance!!!

The iChat AV Beta expired a while ago (January, I think). Your only options are to either buy iChat AV from Apple (I think its $29.99) or upgrade to Panther and get iChat AV for free. However, I would probably wait until Monday before upgrading to Panther so you know when Tiger will be released.

I was goin to buy Panther anyway, but on first I wanted to try iChat to see if it works with my eMac because I've heard that sometimes doesn't work in certains machines... anyway... thanks again hyper0le!!!

Yes this is most likely true. I don't believe there is any way to work around it either.

That's what I meant. I mean, it would be silly to upgrade to Panther now if Tiger will be released in the Fall, but if it's not going to be available until late Winter, it might be worth upgrading to Panther.
