Office X upgrade with missing Office 2001 CD? Possible?

I was reinstalling Office:X tonight when it prompted me for my Office:2001 CD. I went wondering about looking for it when it dawned on me that my wife tossed out a bunch of stuff ([i]including my Cube install CDs, my Cube right-angle VGA cable, etc.[i]). I have a feeling that the Office:2001 CD bit the dust also during my wife's hi-tech version of "the night of long knives".

Anyway: Is there any way to get Office:X to install without the Office:2001 CD? (I owned a legal copy of it.) Or ... am I basically screwed?
