Ok ... I've started syncing my Tungsten T2 with iSync under OSX.

Calendar and the ToDo list sync into iCal ..
Question: 1) Where does it store the categories for the to-do items? 2) How do I filter by the to-do items? Lumping them all together makes quite a mess.

Contacts go to the address book: All is good here. I still don't see the categories, but I can deal with it better here.

Question:
Where do the memos sync to?

iSync only handles contacts with Address Book and calendars/to-dos with iCal. Memos and everything else still go through the regular Palm software.

Thanks. Now that you've pointed that out to me I was able to find it. :-)

Any thoughts on the category issue?

Also:
Has anyone tried to sync a palm with BOTH a PC *and* a Mac? Any issues with doing so?

I hate to revive such an old thread, but in the time that has lapsed, has anyone tackled the category issue for todo items?

i also use a tungsten t2 with osx & isync.
only need the palm desktop (which is almost never) to view memos.

to-do...click on the pushpin icon on the bottom of the ical window, and there it is..!

My question is:

How do I preserve categories on the iCal desktop for to-do items?

You can't. :/ Even with the Missing Sync, it doesn't work.

This comes VERY close to making the iCal todo list somewhat useless ...

Will Missing Sync keep categories if you sync with Entorage? (Or does it not work there either?)
