has anyone figured out how to get iview mediapro (i've seen this problem on 2.0 and 2.5.1) to change a desktop image in osX? i'm talking about making a selected photo the desktop background. everytime i try, it asks where "appearances" program is, which as i remember is an os9 pref.

They have to update that..sloppy. What I do is drag the thumbnail to the dekstop picture well via Expose.

Good question. I've been changing the desktop background through a folder I call "Desktop Pictures" which is what the iView library reference to. But having the option to change it directly from iView would be great!
