i usually view my photos through album that i create by dragging photos to it from my library.

the reason is i have maybe 5000 photos and don't want to go through everyone every time, plus i like to stay organized.

anyways, when i want to delete a photo, if i do it from the album, it just removes it from the album and leaves it in my library. if i delete from my library it moves it to trash.

is there any way to send it to the trash from an album? any keyboard shortcuts? its a pain!
or maybe as a last resort, are there any scripts that do this nicely?

thanks everyone!

I think iPhoto Diet will find the orphans - it cleans up a lot of iPhoto junk.

I asked the same thing awhile ago at Apple Discussions... Try CMD-OPTION-DELETE... works for me.
