Hi all,

Is there a quick, simple way to block iTunes streaming radio and music sharing over a LAN for our Mac users? They are all standard users in 10.3.4 (not admins). I've asked them to keep the streaming radio and music sharing to a minimum, but they've not listeded. Our network bandwidth is taking a beating because of it.

iTunes sharing uses port 3689 (according the firewall in my System Preferences) Blocking that should kill iTunes sharing.

I"m not sure what port, if any unique one, radio streaming to iTunes uses.

That said, are you certain it's the iTunes sharing that's causing the network to slow? (I would think most people with enough network savy to know that iTunes was bogging the network down would know how to find out what port it was sharing on...)
