Just wondering here.....

I didn't see any mention of this on Apple's site so I'm assuming it won't work, but I thought I'd ask anyways. I was looking into purchasing a PowerBook and was wondering if I could pair it with my desktop and have iCal, Addressbook, and all that sync up with my data on my PowerMac.

If not, anyone think this would be a good thing to be able to do?

You can do it, but it seems to require a .mac membership.

From Panther's iSync 1.4 Help:
If you have a .Mac membership, you can use iSync to synchronize your Address Book contacts, iCal events and To Do lists, and your Safari bookmarks across multiple Mac OS computers using the Internet.

Before you can sync your computers, you need to register them with the .Mac synchronization service. You only need to do this once for each computer.

Shucks. I was hoping there was a way to sync it up much like how it syncs it up to cell phones. Don't have a .Mac account. I guess I could do an export and then an import to get my data across, but I was hoping to have an easier solution. Oh well......
