during surfing, the next link will suddenly throw up garbage - I've mucked around with INTERNATIONAL in the prefs in the past and made it come right with a relaunch. What can I do to make this not happen?? OS X10.3.4, Safari 1.2.2. See sample output from THE REGISTER:

It was five years ago today... It's (sort of) official: mobile phones fry your brain and, what's more, they are particularly fond of unstabilised children's brains:

Go to the View menu, then Text Encoding, and then choose the one you think is most appropriate. If that doesn't get it, then keep trying.

I have noticed that when going to a Outlook Web Access login page, OWA comes up in English despite me having Japanese set as my preferred language in the International system prefs. With IE, if I set the preferred language to Japanese, OWA does correctly come up with the Japanese login.

I don't know what to tell you. Try Firefox instead. It's faster than IE, and it might not have the same language problem as Safari; I haven't had any problems like that, and my default language is set to Japanese as well.

Yeah, I tried out Mozilla and it did the right thing too, so I guess it's time for a bug report to Apple.
