I'm having a small problem here:

I wanted to compress a .dmg file that has 321 MB and burn it with other stuffs on CD-r (TDK 700 MB) on toaster titanium 6.

It wouldn't let me because of not enough free space on CD.. So I 'stuffit' the .dmg with Dropstuff... After the compression, the MB numbers stay the same. It didn't reduce the size? I even tried with "DropTar" and "DropZip".. Still no luck.....

am I missing something here??

I'd guess your disk image is already compressed. Compressing compressed data is pointless.
