Anyone know of a good OS X application for creating house drawings? Basically I am sick or drawing a room or house layout on paper. I guess I am looking for an easy to use vector program. Thanks!

there are a billion options here, including:

AppleWorks
Illustrator
OmniGraffle

not to mention CAD programs and the like.

FWIW, my father (an architect) prefers doing basic little sketches in ClarisDraw (for classic only)

Hmm... I didnt even think about Illustator, mainly because my current computer wont run it very well. Since I am looking for a vector based drawing system, that should work perfectly.

I guess I could attempt to create my own custom program too... Thanks!

You might want to look at some of the open source programs available via fink, such as sodipodi and xfig.
