Does anyone know if Safari 2 will work under Panther, or is it Tiger specific?

Don't actually have either, but curious!

I don't think that Safari 2 will be released for Panther, but the coming Safari 1.3 seems to be exactly the same but without Private Browsing and RSS.

So is it unlikely that we'll see RSS support until Tiger?

Shame

There are still plenty of great third party RSS apps you can use up until the release.

OmniWeb has built in RSS support if integration is your thing.

Thanks, I think I'll try OmniWeb.

Tried it, doesn't work. The Safari application itself must use Tiger-only features.
