Is there a script to erase songs in iTunes that don't have associated files? Periodically, I'll Add my entire music library to my wife's library to make sure she has all the songs we own. This generally works pretty well except periodically it leaves behind doubles with one of the songs not having an associated file.

Why aren't you sharing a library? Is this two different computers?

One computer. We are sharing the music folder, but not our library files so that we can have individual ratings and our own playlists. We each have our own ipod and it is the best way for both of us to have smart playlists based on song ratings since we don't really like the same music. When I rip a song or buy a song it doesn't get automatically added to my wife's library file even though all the songs are in our shared music folder.

One of the sample scripts on http://apple.com/applescript/itunes is supposed to clean up tracks that don't have associated files.
