I just got it for work and on my first launch it crashed three times (Entourage).
I got very mad until I started ready the crash log report and noticed that it was SILK that was making it crash. I disabled SILK and voila now it launches. I tried to look for someone with this similar problem and I seem to be the only one. We actually don't seem to be that many with Office 2004.

I'll tell you the truth, it really looks a lot like Office X.

There has been a ton of posts in regards to Office:2004; however, maybe none with your specific problem is all...

I guess what I might be saying is... not many people using Office 2004 and silk at the same time... ;-)
