Doesn't iTunes allow you to convert the song to MP3? Just convert and burn you toast (or the finder).

Of course it doesn't allow you to convert protected songs to MP3. And you can't burn an audio CD from the Finder.

As I recall, Toast was able to burn M4Ps to audio CD at one point, but the functionality was broken when Apple moved to FairPlay 2. I don't know if Toast has been updated to fix that yet, but if it has then that's your best bet.

Go to VersionTracker and do a search for "AAC". You'll find several applications that are supposed to convert the aac files to AIFF and other formats.
