I am thinking about .mac and a little worried about the 100mb of space, since my dig pictures are about 1megabyte large. Does .mac compress them when up loading as to not take up as much space? or will I basically only be able to have 100 pictures online?

Thanks!

If you use iPhoto to create your .Mac Homepages, it resizes the files to be about 80KB to 100KB each automatically. If you are placing the images on the iDisk manually, then they won't be resized and will be the MB that they were originally. HTH

iPhoto downsizes them to 800x600 as part of the upload. They don't take up much space. But the online copies aren't too good for printing, of course.
